I jerked my head back onto the bed, feeling a sharp pain in my neck.

A long while after...
Ravin came into the shelter,eyes literally glowing.

"Hi," I say

"Hi,did anything happen while I was away?" Ravin asked.She shook off her wings.

"I got really bored. " I say.

"Oh,but that's all,right?" Ravin sat on the edge of the bed.

"Yeah, " I say, sitting up, using my wings to help.

"Are you okYyou look weak,no offence." Ravin said."I can do something about that."

"I'm fine..." I say, brushing my fingers through my hair.

Ravin put a branch near her face and cursed,lighting the tip of the branch on fire."A little party trick.I curse-then the word is replace with a small flame."

"Are you mad?" I ask. "Because I'll leave you alone if you are...."

"I'm not mad"Ravin smiles."Just getting a campfire starte--" She brushes out a little fire on her clothes.

I go over to her. I look to where the fire is supposed to be and spit on it, making it flare up. "My saliva is made from flammable acids."

"Oh.Ok." Ravin said. She added more twigs to the fire.

I forced myself to get up, despite having one arm and an injured leg. I winced in pain as I bit my bottom lip with seven of my sharp teeth. "Damn it hurts..." I say. "I guess I need to stay away from cold weather, eh?"
