"Feel my pain." Daniel said and began spraying gasoline.

Aero had been blasted away quite a while back, and was now watching from a distance, heart thumping helplessly.

"Burn, fire, burn." Daniel said.

The gasoline just faded. Another substance destroyed it. A black gas. I walked over to Daniel, dragging my insides against the concrete. I got to him, and my muscles were snapping, all of it could be heard. I raised my claw and stabbed at him.

Daniel dodged the stabs. "You pest." He said.

"I..." I say with a raspy voice, "I am... I am a hero..." With that, the black gas suffocated Daniel, and I dropped dead.

"You are no hero." Nate said then dialed a number on his phone.

Midnite stared at Nate. He ran over to him and began stabbing the hell out of him. "DIE! DIE! DIE!"

"ACE!" Aero yelled, and began to run over to his figure on the ground, but then Amethyst stopped her. "Aero..." She began, her usually annoying presence gone.

Midnite eventually killed Nate and went over to me. "He's barely alive," he said.

Aero pushed her way past Amethyst and ran over to Ace. She quickly dropped to her knees and stared staring at Ace. "Please don't die..." She said, her voice barely a whisper. Tears started forming in her eyes, and falling down her cheeks.

I used all of my gathered energy to sit up, bones grinding against each other. I opened my eyes, but I was completely blind now. "I'm staying..." I mutter.

"Ace, don't talk. You need to rest." Areo looked over at Midnite. "Can you teleport? If so, we need to get back to his house!"

Midnite grabbed me and teleported everyone to my house.

Aero set Ace on the couch and sat at his feet, frowning. "I hope you get better soon..." She murmured.
