"What do you mean you don't know?!" Ray said. "Aero needs you, and that ain't hard to figure out!"

"I can barely breathe, you expect me to think clearly? " I ask.

"I dare you to think about what would happen to Aero if you died, and if after that, you still believe she'd be better off without you, then you can kill yourself." Ray said.

"Why do you care, you hate me," I say.

"But I respect you." Ray said.

"Don't see why," I say.

"Cause you put your life on the line to protect your friends, and I respect that." Ray said.

"But I killed your brother. " I say.

"That's why I don't like you." Ray said. "But liking someone and respecting someone are two different things, and I have just as much respect for you as I did my brother."

"I'm not one to be respected, " I say.

"Most people who are respected dont think they deserve to be." Ray said. "They don't demand respect, and that's why they are respected."

"I'm not going to argue with you anymore, " I say.

Ray looked down, nodded and walked away.
