I dodged, all 25 feet of me. The mist that surrounded me stung Nikolai. I spit at his forehead, acids ready to burn through anything. My white and golden wings spread as I flew after him.

I screeched in pain, going back into my normal form. I felt blood pour from my stomach, where my ribs were of course. I coughed up my own vocal cords from the impact.
