The paramedics pulled out guns.

The man grabbed me and threw me in the car. Surprisingly, Ginger was in there, she saw me and hugged me tightly. Another man was in the back, holding a gun up to us.

Icarus got up, "Matt, where's Ace?" he said after restoring power to systems after draining them.

I flinched once her fingertips dug into my side.
"Some-" She tried to say, but was cut off.
"Shut up!" The man in the back yelled, tasing Ginger with a stun gun. I quickly held her in my arms, away from the man. I knew the driver, a sworn enemy of mine.
"Hey Mike, what do we do with these two?" The man in the back asked.
"It's Boss to you. And these two are very valuable to me," Mike said, holding up a stone with a dark purple glow.

"He was sent to the hospital..." Matt started before his radio cut in.

"Vaughn we have a kidnapping case after an ambulance was attacked, RT.17." The radio said.

"Okay, heading NE to RT.17." Vaughn replied.

I began reassuring Ginger silently as I watched the man in the back fall asleep. I quickly grabbed his gun and shot Mike. Ginger jumped out of the car as it went off road, I wasn't quick enough and felt the impact of hitting a large tree.

"Sgt. Vaughn the car has crashed off the right side of RT.17." The radio said.

"I'm on my way, sent two ambulances and a backup car."

I stumbled from the car and quickly met Ginger. She held me up with another hug.

Matt's police car pulled up to the area. "You okay?" He asked from his car.

"We're all good- kinda. ." I say.

"Any injuries?" Matt asked as the other cop was checking the inside of the car for survivors.

"I'll be okay, " I say.

"What about the girl with you, is she okay?" Matt asked.

"Ginger's fine too," I say.

"Okay." Matt said. "Rogers! Any survivors in the wreckage?"

"I don't think so." Rogers said.
