Icarus shook his finger, "Actually, I have an idea." he said. He moved closer to Shulk, "If we can get Ki to allow a Blade Switch, either me or Virtue'll swap Gawain's blade for our own after we blood infuse it, with that, when Ki shatters the swapped blade, Gawain needs to charge while Ki is laughing." he said explaining. "When the shattered blade gets close enough, the blade's owner with snap their fingers, causing a Blood Blade to replace the broken blade, which will pierce Ki." he said whispering.

"That probably work, but the problem is Ki might not allow a Blade Switch, especially when he's winning." Shulk said.

Ki nodded, "I allow it, not much will change." he said cockily.

Icarus and Virtue laid down their blades, Excalibur and Caliburn retrospectively, but not before they each slit their hands in secret, leaving blood on the blades of each sword, "Choose the replacement blade." Icarus said, waiting for Gawain to pick.

Virtue nodded, and Caliburn moved to be in the grasp of Gawain.

Ki nodded, "Now that the blade swap is done, let us return to the duel!" he said, taking a defensive stance.

Icarus motioned for Gawain to charge and have Ki break the blade.
