X nodded, "It's like he's all the good in the world, in one person." he said. Ikaru had finished helping out a senor citizen, before heading off to help out at a soup kitchen.

"Yeah." Edward agreed and took another sip of his coffee.

Ikaru finished his shift at the kitchen, and headed off to help some wise men at their Dojo. As he reached the halfway point there, he was struck down by a searing sensation on the back of his neck, Japanese symbols seemingly heating up. He fell to the ground, below a streetlight. X sighed as he waited for Ikaru, "He should be back by now..." he said, a bit worried. "I need to go look for him." he said, getting up and heading out the door.

"This has been an interesting day." Edward muttered to himself.

X spotted Ikaru quickly, "Ikaru! Are you alright?" he said, picking him up. Ikaru coughed a little, "I'll be alright." he said as X took him to the Jet.

A man was watching Ikaru and X a few hundred feet from the jet.

X placed Ikaru into a bed in the resting chambers of the Jet." he laid down on an opposite bed.

The man snuck under the jet and attached C4 onto the fuel tanks.

X sensed the psychic signature, "Eh? Whose that?" he said, sending a multitude of chains towards the signature as he picked up Ikaru.

The man rolled out of the way of the chains as he ran a ways away from the jet and detonated the C4.

X shielded them both with the Vectors as it detonated, which sent them flying back into the Coffee shop. X was covered in ash and some smoke, still holding Ikaru rightly.

"What the hell happened?" Edward asked.

X grunted, laying Ikaru down, "Someone blew up the jet, high impact explosion launched us here." he said, "I have the oddest feeling it was Zek..."

"Zek, Zek, okay, why would Zek be in japan." Edward mumbled to himself, "He wouldn't go after us, because he's a feint attacker, he must be looking to recruit someone here, Lyzakyan, Lyzakyan, he has many similarities to The Ray, could they be the same man, is that who The Zek wants?" Edward just continued to mumble uncontrollably.

X shrugged, "I don't know, I know less than 10 people, and I don't think Matt would do this." he said, ordering a Bubble Tea and some cookies for Ikaru.
