Ray called some of his buddies. Edward went back to Anerica and got his vest.

X finished fashioning it, having it cover his face, only leaving his hair, with a sharp smirk with teeth showing, as well as an eye with a scar on one side, with no eye on the other. He flung a vector at a pillar of stone three feet thick, cleaving it in two, and protected himself from it with the chains.

Edward grabbed a patch that had a pentagram on it. "I promised myself I wouldn't put this back on, but desperate times call for desperate measures." He said.

X said nothing under the mask, letting loose a storm of Vectors and chains, slicing and crushing the ruins as he moved about. Soon, he came across a deer, staring it in the eye, "Don't stay." he said, trying to scare it off.

Deadeye was standing behind Edward, "What causes desperate measures?" He said.

"I told you to take a break." Edward said

X sighed, "I warned you." he said, sending a flurry of vectors at the deer. With that, blood splattered across the area, and onto the mask. X turned back around, crushing a statue with a chain.

"Im too invested in this to leave now." Deadeye said.

"James, you seriously can't afford to be in this." Edward said.

"I don't think you understand." Deadeye said.

X turned towards a skeletal corpse, "I wonder..." he said, pulling it up with the Vectors and embedding one in it. As he did, it stood still without the vectors pulling it.

"Im the Zek." Deadeye whispered and quick slit Edwards throat.

X sighed, commanding the new minion to fall and detach from the Vector, "How odd." he said. sitting on a throne of chains.

Deadeye knelt by Edwards body. "Isn't ironic that the man you wre trying to protect is the same one you were trying to kill, funny isn't it?" He said as he grabbed his rifle and walked out of the building.

X sighed, looking towards the Jet, he hopped in, and called Deadeye, "Hey Deadeye, long story short, I'm going to destroy a city." he said, flying high,

"Cool," Deadeye said, "But why?"

X sighed, "Didn't Edward tell you?" he said a bit confused. Ikaru was busy continuing his work.

"Uhh, no, haven't seen Edward." Deadeye said.
