[/align]My computer's dead again, And I have 2 theories to why


deleted a file that was prematurely in the Garbage Can thing and didn't know it was important.


Garry's Mod butchered it with its 211 mods on it. ._. (I'm leaning towards both as the computer didn't DIE when I played Minecraft or used the Internet. It only started acting up when I played Gmod)

Okay the computer's working again for now, Not sure how long until it tries to die this time.

Sounds like
A. You have a cruddy computer
B. You have waaaay too many things downloaded on there
C. You don't have anti virus software

Some things to help the computer could be....

1. Get CCleaner
2. Get Avast!
3. Do a factory grade system restore
4. Do a performance test to see where the specific problem is

Also, like Ness suggested, get a anti-virus program. :P IDK any free ones off the top of my head though. You might've accidentally downloaded a virus. Check your downloads. Does anything look off? If so, run a virus scan, and see what that says. If there IS a virus, it should catch it, and then you can proceed from there to eliminate it. Then, it should hopefully run better.
You might've also downloaded too much. Try purchasing a memory stick or an SD card, and save your downloads on that. If even THAT doesn't work, please don't take offense to this, but that just means your computer is a piece of garbage.

Comodo Dragon <It may freeze your computer, but it's the strongest one
Mcafee <Not sure if it's still free these days
AVG Light <My parents used this for 7 years, but I think it may cost money now

Our computer has Panda :P (And Malware Bytes I believe.) And it's working again, so.... yeah :P

Use Norton It is VERY overprotective (probably would say that your mods are viruses) but VERY efficient

I have Garry's Mod's mods from Steam, they're not Viruses, there's just allot of them.
