Destra had an idea what that meant--that someone broke in and stole it. She hoped she was wrong.

Kevin opened the foor. "It's gone." Kevin said

Crud.
"'Er, how powerful is that weapon, exactly?"

"Most powerful in the world." Kevin said

Yeah, we're dead, she thought.

"It's the weapon that would of had to be unlocked by the key and code held by Ryan Baulschoff." Kevin said

"So that meant either A) Ryan stole it himself or B) some guy forced him to put in the code and retrieve the weapon."

"Yes." Kevin said. "It is likely that Jeff took it, which even though that sound okay, is not."

"But isn't he the Group 2 leader? If he wasn't allowed to take it, then it must be pretty bad."

"He isn't supposed to be able to take it. He used Palchianni as a distraction to trick Ryan into opening the case and this is the first time the weapons been released." Kevin said

Destra took a moment to let it sink in that she might have used to work for a bad guy. "That means that Jeff and Palchianni worked together?"

"No, that's just Jeff playing the ultimate oppurtunist, he saw an opening and took it." Kevin said

"But why would he want the weapons? I'm guessing that it's to make the war end more quickly, but he does have bombs if that was his motive."

"It could be an alternative motive. Angus's motive, but it's unknown what that was."

"If it was, then I'm assuming that it'll be worse."
