"There is no point in robbing were locked into the most protected food court in this town so why bother? Don't you see, were all stuck in here so get used to it if you wan tto survive!." Alice hated the way she was talking. But the only way she was going to get through to him was to state the facts. "or.... is it because you know a way out?" Alice bent down and looked at him closer, her long wavy blonde hair framed her pale face and her red eyes almost looked like they were glowing because of the moonlight from the boarded up window.

"I don't know a damn way out, I know this was the most heavily locked place in the whole town, I know this, but do you know what well protected equals? A lot of money, money my brother and I need!"

Alice stared at him with a confused look on her face. She sat down next to James and hugged her knees. "Whatever you need this money for, you, risking your life you must really care for your familly..." Alice paused and looked at James. "Protect your familly while you have it.. I never had one." She forced a smile so she could show him she cared.

Alice got up and started to walk down the hall, she paused and turned around to walk back towards James, she sat down next to him again and tossed a 50 to James. "Use it wisely."

Alice looked out the window." You know... if i wasn't trying not to die right now, i might of said its a perfect night tonight.... Hey.. what do you need that money for anyways?" Alice asked as she hugged her knees again and put her head down on them.

"Life, to put it simply." James said.

She moved a little closer to him. "You can tell me." She said in a soft voice.

"HEY GUYS!" I say loudly.

"Food water shelter, all of it dammit!" James shouted. "My brother used to jump from job to job, until he fell off a roof, now he can barely walk, I've illegally applied for over sixty under the table jobs, none accepted, so this is all I have left."

Alice was a little bit startledd by James' sudden anger. "Look I know this sounds stupid but... If we get out alive. my house has 2 stories. i found it when it was abandoned and renovated it. you can bring you and your brother there and stay as long as you need. I understand what your going through. I went through that with my dad before he died. "Alice put her hand on James' shoulder. "Just remember who your doing it for and don't give up." Alice got up and walked over to Ace "Where did you go?" She asked.

I've been in the office the whole time." I say.

Alice laughed. "Find anything usefull?" She asked.

"I found a soda." I say.

"That might be helpful later." Jack said.

Alice jumped a little. "Oh hi Jack, I didn't hear you come down the hallway." Alice points at James who was still sitting in the corner. "I was talking to him and he doesn't seem that bad." She stated.
