So, I've just recently got back into making banners/siggys. I made this first one, but then I had an idea, and made the second one.
Which one do you think is better? Please let me know, rate it, and put CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

#2. Will you take requests ?

I'd say no.1 is the best, since the render is blended better with the bg in that one than it is in no.2, plus I love the wispy effects in no..1, and I feel that no.2's bg effect is just a bit too 'harsh' if you know what I mean.

To make it better, I feel that some c4d effects put on top of the whole thing would do wonders for it, and you could also maybe duplicate the render layer, and smudge the one on bottom to kind of 'de-sharpen' the edges on it. Also, if you can, (I understand if you haven't got typekit or any font plug-ins, this will be very hard for you)
then maybe put the text a bit closer to the render, use different fonts for the 'Best' part and the 'Friends' part, and also have a nice colour/effect on them if possible.

Overall, i'd give it a 6/10 (this is actually an ok rating to get from me, so you shouldn't get upset, i'd be very proud of that work if I was you), great work so far, and i'd love to see some more stuff from you in the future!

1 looks better than 2 imo. :P The wispy thing makes it stand out better, and the colors in it are better. :P

I like #2 because I think the background helps emphasize the wolves better. 8.5/10

The edges of the render have a sort of white effect on them, probably from when they were cut from the background. It's making it easily noticeable that the final image has been put together and so needs to be blended in better. If you learn to blend the endges of your render into the piece your skills as a whole will go up, not just this tag
