I wish you could see your friends friends so it would be easier to add friends

Well, that could be good, but that might also start a few fights. For example, A sent B a friend request. B declined the request. A looks at B's friends, and notices that they aren't on the list. A may get mad at B for not accepting their friend request. But hey, just 'cause someone sends you a request, it doesn't mean you have to accept it. Granted, not Creed, but I've seen people fighting over that on Facebook, so really, IDK if it would be good or not. I mean, a plus side would be that you could see who the other person's friends are, and since they're friends, they might have similar interests, and they may be ideal friends for you as well. Example:
A likes Pokemon, puppies, and anime. A has B, C, and D as friends.
B likes Pokemon, Superman, and MLP.
C likes Pokemon, movies, and baseball.
D likes Pokemon, shiny things, and football.
A is your friend, and you're looking at B, C, and D on their list. Maybe you also like MLP, and B would make a good friends for you, while maybe you're not into sports, so C and D wouldn't be ideal friends. Doesn't mean that you can't be friends with all three, but if what I wrote makes sense, basically, you can find others with similar interests to your friends, which, in theory, have similar interests to you.
