Welcome to the world of Pokemon! I am the Nolios Pokemon Professor, Professor Willow. As with other regions, we live side by side with Pokemon. Unlike other regions, we're not all humans. We have sentient animals, non-Pokemon dragons, Mixels, and even non-violent animatronics as Trainers. Why, I'm a dark beige porcupine!

We have three starters native to our region:

Leaflet, the Grass starter. It resembles a light green quadruped rabbit with an oval body. It has a big black pupil, taking up about two-thirds of the visible part of the eyes. Leaflet has two small leaves pressed against its back, and short legs.

Smopup, the Fire starter. It looks like a small quadruped puppy, with a flame between its shoulder blades. It's fur is a burnt orange.

Finice, the Water starter. It resembles a blue fish, with black eyes and white pupils. It's fins are tipped with what appears to be ice.

If you don't like any of these, you also have the option of starting with Eevee or Riolu. You can pick your starter up at my lab in Yingi Town.

Here's the current Pokedex! It only contains Pokemon native to Nolios.

You can fill up the Pokedex by encountering and/or catching Pokemon or evolving them.

But what can we be without the rules?

Follow RP rules.
You can be anything you want.
Don't go overboard, though.
We're going to try to follow the games, such using the experience and level system, catch rates, and the such. Don't worry, I'll keep track of all of that.
Everyone starts in Yingi Town, but if you're behind when you start, you can ask me if you could skip ahead.

(Once again, I won't participate in the RP itself, but I will be controlling the NPCs and wild Pokemon, in addition to the standard game mechanics.)

EDIT: (Came up with a new type, since I intended Nolios to be the region that is obsessed with death and hauntings, and the fact I intend to give it a darker tone than the actual Pokemon games.

Death-type:

Strong against: Grass, Fighting, Psychic, Ghost
Not effective against: Steel, Fairy, Dark
Weak against: Fairy, Fire, Ice
Resistant against: Fighting, Psychic, Ghost, Poison
Immune to: None

Pokemon type changes:

Duskull line now pure Death.
Shedinja now Bug/Death.
Yamask line now Ghost/Death.

Move changes:
Perish Song is now Death-type.

New Moves:
Graveyard Terrain: -- Power, --Accuracy. Decreases amount of HP that could be restored by moves such as Recover and Synthesis in half and boosts the power of Death-type attacks by 50%.

Can I make a Death typed Eeveelution? How does Graveon sound? :P I made a sprite and everything
