I watched the others communicate as I stood back away from everyone else.

Bonnie, concerned about his friend, stood up. "Freddy, what's wrong?"
He didn't answer, but said, "I'm having a meeting tonight. I'll explain what's going on."
I shut off my MP3, and glanced at Freddy as he walked off.

Bonnie would've grinned if he could. "Yeah, it's great! Unfortunately, my replacement didn't change much--she is still a bit aggravating."
"Hey!" I protested.
"Just kidding. I do wonder what's wrong with Freddy. He's not as cheerful and confident as usual."
