Yeah. There were three optional cues in FNaF, one in FNaF2 (Mangle's static) and a mandatory one (music box), and none that I know of in FNaF3.

In FNaF4, the majority of the game depends on your ability to listen closely. That's why it ups the scare factor and part of the reason why I consider FNaF4 the best game of the canon series.

I like 1 and 4 the most simply due to their challenge. FNaF1's challenge was conserving power, and FNaF4's is HEARING EVERY LITTLE DETAIL.
