Wow. I never encountered bees in the original Animal Crossing since I only shook fruit trees (do they even appear in the original?), so I don't have any experience with bees aside from reading and observing.

Really? I just sold them for 200. :P I sell fossils for 10k bells and my guys are all like "OH NU THAZZ TOO EXPENSIVE!!1!" and I'm just like "Oh like you ever actually buy anything unless I'm selling it"

Yeah, they probably are. You can only sell up to four times the sell price if you just sold it to Reese.

Fossils are usually like 5000-8000 bells, I usually just double it. And I have the wealth ordnance on. ._.

Then they should buy it if you pressure them to. I dunno, maybe it doesn't work on the more expensive items.
