Not much has happened. We've got a few more updates in 2014, which include the dungeon, two new towers, and the ability to breed Pokemon. But there hasn't been another update since then.
Forum-wise, nothing has changed.
Chat-wise, far as I know, the only thing different is that everyone tries to get CB to ban them by saying "mustard". Pretty sure that thing is still going.
