My first C++ program
I recently started learning C++, and made my first program, I am so excited!
I compiled it using TurboC, my friend said it is old, but the book also used the same, so I will be using it. Here it is : #include<iostream.h> #include<conio.h> void main() { cout<<"Hello World"; } getch(); } Yahoo my first program

I always feel good to see people learning programming. It's good to know that Da Man successfully made one of his fans to have interest in programming - at least Da Man have one way or the other way helped you to start your long programming career. Nice, old-school Hello World program you have the @complanboy. I hope that you type those out yourself and not copy and paste. Haha.
I'd suggest you to throw away the book (sorry to the author) as soon as the grab the basic concept. Then experiment with your newly acquired skills and grow from there - that is how you can be a self-taught programmer. :), Pokemoncreed's King/Queen [you must login to view images] Jacktheking [you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images] I learn my rules from not learning the rules. Wow nice. C++ is a harder language but a really good one.
When you become really good in at least one programming language (which takes time), (usually) you will be able to learn other languages incredibly quickly. Looking for artists to help create sprites/UI/tiles/backgrounds/characters for Pokemon Creed. If interested, PM me with portfolio.[/b] |
