Trade Limits?

Can someone explain the trade limit to me? I thought it was lvl 3499 + 0.1% of the trainer's lvl but when I tried to lend a lvl 5 trainer my 3k, it didn't work.

no the Max for everyone is level 3,000 and for lower trainer levels the cap is 500 level above the trainer level so if my is level 755 I could loan/trade a level 1,255 once you reach the trainer level of 2,500 or above you can only loan/trade a level 3,000 no matter what your trainer is so if my is level 10,000 I can still only loan/trade a level 3,000

Then why can I lend a trainer lvl 10k a 3.48k poke when you say the limit is 3000?

The max trading cap for EVERYONE is 2999! it doesnt matter on your trainer level. Sergio said so, it was his idea...

Yeah it's 2999 for everyone now, at the start it was +500 above trainer level... Sergio had an idea for it to be 2999 and it is

I have no idea I'll PM Sergio to comes here and please explains the trading cap thoroughly because if there no limit as long your training is high enough then I kicked out cooljoshy for no reason I just hope there is an actual limit

Dreams level is 19263. 0.1% of that is 19.263. If you add that to 2999 it comes to 3018.263, so how is he able to loan a level 3482 pokemon with that law in effect.
