Looking to do a massive contest, any ideas?

How about placing a bunch of little logos in random places on the site, and getting people to count how many logos are scattered thru the site. Like with the scrambler just put random letters on random pages and people have to find them and then figure out what poke it is. But the contest is you dont tell anyone how many letters there are. So like F-A-R-F-E-T-C-H-D spread through the site. But they could be anywhere on any page so people have to use the site to find them. Or have the letters pop up like in the captcha images.

1st person to find all the letters an unscramble wins a shadow farfetchd =)

JaanX, yeah might do that again, but a little shorter , as in it takes quicker to win.

a tournament where each person gets 3 level 50 pokemon and you have 1 hour to train them as much as you want. then after the hour there will be a tournament after that the rental pokemon leave your profile.

No thanks, don't like training contests, people with higher levels have higher advantage.

the thing that could work is unknown collecting those are not always easy to get and sertainly not if u want specific letters

not like the contest collect them and make a word :P

although i am aware of the fact that some have numerous unknowns stored somewhere thus makin it a advantage for them.. hmmmmmm

If you do farfech'ds idea, you could get an item thats contest specific with no other use for each find until you collect them all

I like abcywe's idea of connect four, but it needs a bit of expansion/improvement, so.......

You could have it as a knockout tournament.
Just face people off against each other until there are 2 left. Winner of them two wins the prize.
To work out the whole 'who gets seeded' issue (as I doubt there will be a power of 2 for the amount of players), you write down everyone's name (who are still in the contest in later games) in the order they joined the contest, give them a number each, and go to 'ran dom.org' to chooses which numbers are seeded. :D
