Step One: Rules are important
Step Two: Forms are required, and the game wouldn't be anything to start without them
Step Three: Characters should have human natures. They should be very human-like.
Step Four: 15 pages is enough and therefor the RolePlay should have a sequel to it. Much hope it would be CLOSED, and never opened again.
Step Five: A PLOT is the most important part of a RolePlay.

I'd like to 'butt' in, if you don't mind.

A good roleplay must have a plot that draws in the reader, something that would interest them. Try to make the unexpected, something brand new.

A story that people make up along the way is NOT a roleplay! It is an activity, belonging to Oddishes Off-Topic. It may seem like one, but a roleplay is a story in where there are roles that people play, in words or in real life, filled with creativity.

BTW- MangoD has a point, but my life isn't a roleplay people! It isn't that important. A roleplay is something to do when your bored and need to waste time. Same with drawing.
