I doubt that Arceus41 let us say that all the elected senators are smart but the economy of the country doesn't lie on their hands alone.

The senate play a small part in the Philippines' economy. They're there to make laws, not to make the country richer. ;x
But if they make the right laws, then yeah, economy might, and hopefully, become better.

I hope the economy increases too. I have been to the not so great part of the phillipines and it really bugs me that there are a lot of things needed to be fixed.
Also, was born and lived in the phillipines for 7 years and then moved out to USA.

Removing corruption in the Philippines would be the most helpful way to make the its economy bloom again and also the pork barrel of those in the senate should be minimized or better return the martial law.:P
