I think that's the default style of choosing the avatars. The one that suddenly ups the page is maybe because it's loading all the avatars then once it's finish, it goes back to it's default style.

I think its ok.. Use profile page to do so..

It's just your computer lagging from all the avatar icons that have to load. Really can't be fixed unless you get a faster computer.
