Rurouni Kenshin. It had a good pace, great story, and memorable characters.

I looooooooove Spirited Away, Ponyo, Laputa, Howl's Moving Castle, Cat Returns, Princess Monanoke (Is that how you spell it?) and many others I can't think of right now! =D Oh, and Haibane Renmei. They should make more episodes.
