Yep they do. if another member wish on your wishing well you will get coins. and if you wish on their wishing well they will get coins.

Uhmmmm if your wishing for something like colored pokemons, i think that's not gonna happen.. i think it was designed to give coins to someone you knew without sending them instead, you wish on their wishing well for them to get coins. That's what i think =)
