Jack was sitting on a chair across the room. "You up?" He said.

I tried to sit up, but couldn't. "I-I'm fine."

"Doc said it was a concussion," Jack said before lighting a cigarette, "you should be good in say, tomorrow."

I looked around. "What happened? All I remember is a Growlithe grabbing me and then slamming my head against the wall... After that all went black." I said.

"After he stabbed me with a piece of glass, Johnathan gave him whiplash by smashing him against the window. Then after we got you to the hospital bed, Angus was gone."

"Angus... He looks a lot like... Jeff, was it?" I said thoughtfully.

"Angus is his older brother." Jack said, "That kids got problems."

There was silence for a few moments. "Why did he attack me?" I asked.

"As I said the kids got problems." Jack said. "Johnathan should've broke his neck."

"I find it strange. I mean, it's not like I'm even his enemy!" I said, feeling a little upset.

"He probably saw you in our territory and assumed you were one of us." Jack said.

There was another silence, longer this time. "You know I won't help you and be with you guys all the time." I began. "I'm not in an alliance, and that will never change."

"That's fine, we're not asking you to, but watch your back, because Angus doesn't let this stuff go." Jack said.

I nodded. A sudden wave of tiredness washed over me, and I lyed down and fell asleep.

Jack got up and walked out of the room. The Houndoom walked into him. "Hey Henry." Jack said. "Hand'em over." Henry said. Jack gave him the cigarettes. "You're only 13, stop with the smokes." Jack just continues down the hall without answering.
