On the way back, Amathyst and Kid Rich were ambushed by a bunch of helicopters who somehow found out they got Mitt.

"Crap, jump the bridge! Jump the bridge!" cried Amathyst.

And so, they jumped off the bridge, and landed safely on a moon bounce, except for Mitt's left foot had fallen off.

"Meh," said Kid Rich. "Nothing a little glue couldn't fix."

And they continued on.
