Conjuring has Good sound effects and it really have that horror effect!
Insideous is also an excellent horror film! Have a Scary time with your friends,lol

Out of the somewhat recently released horror movies, I would recommend Evil Dead, Dark Skies and The Conjuring.

I d suggest , Evil Dead , Conjuring and Carrie Of what i ve heard about Insidious 2 is that the first part was better so it might not be a lot scary in comparison to it.
