As I was walking around our small town, a shining flash of light caught my attention. "There it is," I say, picking up a gold ring on a small chain. I put it around my neck and walk towards my house.

Brook was sitting on a park bench, reading a book. Dylas came over and sat down next to her.
"Brook, I thought I told you to stay home when I'm not with you." He said.
"I'm sorry." Brook apologized.
"With the rumor of 'the dark ones', I don't want you to get hurt, just in case it's real." Dylas said. Brook nodded, and rested her head on his shoulder.

As Dylas and Brook walked back, Dylas sighed. "What?" Brook asked.
"It's just that... We must look so weird as a couple. Me being a gijinka and you as a human."
"You've never worried about this before. It doesn't matter what others think." Brook said, and smiled.
"Yeah, you're right." Dylas said, kissing her on the head.
