Snow is falling on the highlands
An icy wind fills my sails
I am leaving the land i love
To find something new

I have prayed to the gods

It's hard leaving here
The things that happend haunt my dreams

I need a warm home
A place with someone i love
This twilight tears me apart

Land is near
I see a woman waving
My ship hits rocks
Before i could move
The ocean pulls me in the deep

I hit my hear on the wreckage of used to be my ship
The world turns black
There is odin, he is speaking to me
A silver flash
I wake from my dream

The ocean in my wounds stings keep me awake
I let it all out
All of my sorrow it is free

After hours
I feel warmth
My body is still cold
It does not matter

When i open my eyes
A face with a smile more radiant than a thousand suns
Eyes that pierce my soul and filled with fire and joy

You ask me to speak
All i can utter
Are my tears

Now here i am after a year
I gaze into the sea
I never left you
I silently utter words i held on far to long
I pray to odin
I thank him with my eternal gratitude
Because he gave me you

That's pretty good. But in section six, you have "ly". Isn't it supposed to be lie?

As a girl, I can say I honestly can't see how she wouldn't love that. Putting that much effort into something of that sort is always so sweet!!
