Once Mochi was done with the bone, he batted it under the garbage bin. Shaking his fur, he padded out of the alley and looked around. I should go over to a neighborhood, He thought. Humans often give me yummy food! And with that, he began making his way to the neighborhoods.

The woman walked us past a gate into a yard, and shut it. Then she walked to the other side of the house.
"I wonder what's up?" I said.
(Mochi can come at any time now. xD)

Mochi eventually exited the hustle of the main streets and entered the calm presence of a neighborhood. Looking around, he looked for a house. Let's see... That house there has fences. That's probably a good sign that they have dogs! He concluded, and padded toward it. The little Corgi found a hole in the fence, and squeezed his way through. After that, Mochi walked over to a sliding glass door and peered inside.

The woman came in through the front door of her house, and started doing something in the kitchen. I couldn't tell what, but whatever it was, it smelled delicious.

As Mochi looked through the glass door, he noticed three beagles within the room that he was peering through. Smiling, he yapped loudly, hoping to get their attention.

(Actually, they're still outside at this time. XP)
I turned when I heard a yip. There was an adorable Corgi.

(Oh *facepalm* pretend that he was looking in and he saw toys XD)
Mochi saw movement in the corner of his eye, and then turned, seeing a Beagle. "Hi!" He barked, wagging his tail happily. Usually, the dogs he saw were older than him, and boring. Finally, there was a dog that was the same age as him!

"Hello!" I replied.
"Did the human bring you here, too?" I asked.

Mochi cocked his head. "No," He said, and then held his head high in pride. "I'm a stray."

"How come? Did you run away? OR were you just....left?" I asked. Lily and Pudding started this way.

"Well... It's a long story." Mochi replied, face suddenly grim. When he saw Lily and Pudding approaching, he grinned. "Hi!" He greeted them.

Pudding cocked his head.
"Hello?" Lily replied, a bit unsure of whether to trust Mochi or not.

Mochi frowned, confused as to why they were wary of them. He glanced over at the first Beagle, as if asking what he was wondering.

Pudding sniffed at Mochi. He smelled good.
"You smell like chicken." he said.
"PUDDING!" I yelled.
"What? He DOES!" he objected.

Mochi laughed. "Yeah, that's because I just ate some from a restaurant garbage!" He said proudly, not noticing the looks of disgust he was getting.
