I was simply watching, all my attention was on the screen

(OoC: Can't remember exact dialogue.)

It was a normal announcement, with the duo going over the new weapons and random arenas, when the screen suddenly started to get all staticky.

"Well that's new." I said

Marie seemed surprised at how they were losing connection.
"Callie! What's going on!?"
"I think we're being hac-"
The screen abruptly went black, though it was still on.

"Looks like someone hacked the screen." I muttered

A humanoid silhouette is seen. What little light there was revealed octopus-like hair-tentacles and green eyes. Rumbles of confusion sounded from the crowd.

"And of course it's an Octoling." I muttered

And it wasn't just any Octoling, but Eightencle.
"Hello there, pathetic Inklings," Eightencle said maliciously.

"Oh for frick sakes..." I muttered

(OoC: I stink at villain monologues. Basically, she told everyone that she was the brains behind all the stolen Zapfish, which the agents already know but the normal citizens don't, then goes on to say she kidnapped Agent 3 (AKA my self-insert Inkling Umbreon). Of course, she just calls her Agent 3, informing any agents in the Plaza. Then she very intimidatingly tells them to enjoy their Turf Wars while it last. Let's pretend she just said all of that in-character.)

After what was described in the summary, the screen went back to the shocked Squid Sisters.

"Well, It's gonna be fun to wreck." I said

"Where did all that come from!?" exclaimed Marie.
"I don't know, we all know hackers are never good."
"We hate to cut off this short, everybody, but we gotta fix that problem! Until then..."
Both said very hastily and forgetting to do their endearing poses, "Stay fresh!"

"We gotta go wreck that octoling." I said to Nina "And I have an idea..." I said smiling

"Shoot."

I simply put Nina on my back in a piggy-back style fashion "I think this could work." I said smiling
