I like it when the earth gets destroyed in movies and although I don't want to be destroyed my self, would love to be part of a meteor strike. I'm sure the gov't of Russia is putting people down for harvesting and attempting to sell meteor fragments but oh well

Does anyone else consider it a little peculiar that the meteor struck Russia 100 years after the last rather large meteor struck Tunguska Russia destroying miles of woods but was never found.

Here is a theory, what if like Halley's Comet which arrives every 50ish years. Maybe as we do know that our orbit around the sun varies slightly every 100 years or so that the. Revolution around the universe is similar and fragments of a rotating astroid belt or meteor belt coincidently have a similar affect on us.

They say a comet will destroy earth by 2030... doesn't sound good.

Russia doesn't sell Meteor fragments or anything, it just a usual internet joke. I wouldn't buy one, they are radioactive.

Just think about it tho, any second/minute/hour/day a meteor, or even an astroid, could shoot right through earth at any speed; even lightyear would be awesome to see.

It would be so cosmic to have our lives ended by the universe. I would hope it would be instant and every one would die except for one man and one woman.

that would stink, I hate it. Stop dreaming, and the earth probably won't be destroyed by a comet, and I doubt it will be destroyed by a meteor by 2030.

I wouldn't mind if the Earth is destroyed, I think it'd be good for our souls to finally move on. If not, we can continue developing our minds.
