I had nothing gifted when I was a noob. Everything I got was traded from lots of playing time. I got a poke to 250 before I allowed any interferences from other accounts. It just takes a while =-)

Man,the newbies are pretty lucky.

I know how you guys feel, not many help me when I started, when I was new, but in the newbies defense, back in our times, there wasn't that many super high level pokemon when we started, now there alot of them, 2990 is nothing to the people with super high level like is to a new player now.

Just chosen another player to help...
