I need help getting through Secret Waterfall, but i keep loosing against a Poliwag. my rescue team is Mudkip (me) Cyndaquil (partner) and Psyduck (recruited) and i need help getting through. if anyone can give tips that will be awesome.

You should protect your partner when against a Water Type... Also you should train by doing optional missions...

my partner and myself are lvl 11. what level should i be?

recruit a tangela or any grass type their attacks are super effective plus water/fire/grass team is great. i only have darkness but i was at level 13 and my partner was level 14 i had a lileep level 9 i recomend bring alot of oran berries and a elixer. also do optinal tasks i was a charmander and i got tm overheat and flamethrower after waterfall cave pick up every gummi u see

lv up more by doing side missions also get a lot of reviver seeds and protect your partner i know how hard it is when your a fire type because i am one hope this has helped

Recommended level for Secret Waterfall: About 15 or 16

thanks everyone who posted. i made it through that waterfall and made it to the dungeon before groudon. i dont think im ready to fight him so im training. whats the recommended level?

Groudon is level 30 and has drought may want to train up to level 25 or higher, it has drought which makes it sunny it will weaken water attacks and power up fire attack if you have solar beam use it because it has no charge in sun. use fire type attacks as well do missions to train and do hard ones so you can get TMs like overheat for cyndaquil or focus punch for other pokemonsolarbeam and flamethrower are the best moves for the fight dont use eletric attacks as well

training mudkip in steam cave is good as well since you fight fire types

If your stuck on a level you should keep on battling the boss

Mudkip and Cyndaquil are level 29 and i beat Groudon (aka, Uxie) But im stuck on Quicksand pit and Mesprit
