The first shiny in the anime is butterfree but the colour doesnt prove the current shiny poke list(same as weedle, its green in color)
so the next shiny to appear is Paras which has the same color as the shiny poke list

could it have been that ditto in first season? at least im pretty sure there was some shiny ditto... or am i just messing up with miniditt from that trainer?
Edit: Nevermind what I said above. You must be talking about the fake-shiny magikarp james bought on the S.S.Anne

I'm pretty sure its the fake-shiny golden magikarp on S.S.Anne. Considering ash met the shiny butterfree (was it shiny actually?) after S.S.Anne cause thats where he traded his butterfree for a raticate and re-traded it to release it later... and shuckle is gen 2.
