Mother Espeon, nice attempt, but you should use something which doesn't only contain one color, like yours only has pink in it. Try using a large image with different colours in it, that way, it'll look better.
And you could lower the opacity of the scan lines since your picture is quite light, it shows the scan lines a little too much.

georgino, I don't know how to do animated ones, and imo they don't look that good.
