Right now as far as we know there is nothing associated with it. But this gives members the opportunity to post in suggestions their ideas of how it could be used in the game. :) Happiness is fairly new too but haven't heard of anything coming out or in plan if you ask me just for show and kinda forgotten about unfortunately. I'll have to think of an idea myself later on and maybe post it. Already have an idea for the game but too lazy to type it up and explain thoroughly. ;3;

Hm... Maybe it could be used to determine attack power? Maybe we could use this formula.
taap= (aap)(h/7500+1), where
taap= total average attack power
aap= average attack power
h= happiness.
Max happiness calculated into the formula would be 200, to prevent overpower. So, for example, let's use trainer ID #132537's strongest pokemon and say it's happiness is 200. It's average attack power is about 28500, so with substitution, the formula would look like this.
taap=(28500)( 200/7500+1)
When calculated, taap=29260, giving an increase of 760 attack power.
So, what do you think?

Same I also thought that keeping them active in battle increased their happiness. I guess not...

How would one increase happiness anyways? To my knowledge there are no soothe bells or items like that to help increase it, but I think that's because no one really does anything with it. It would be a really neat idea to see happiness increase attack power, like what Forever Alone said. Maybe if they start doing something like that they should come up with soothe bells or a pokeblock, or something else to help people increase that.

Wouldn't that be better to put in the idea/suggestion forum?
