[you must login to view links] I saw this article that states about the extinction of a certain sub-specie of clouded leopard. I would like to hear from everybody about their opinions or maybe their awareness of the extinction of other animals on our present day.

Well i guess, the leopard has had it's time on Earth.. Like everything else it must come to an end at one point in time.

MistyMisty is right. It's survival of the fittest for a reason. It's odd how we as a planet only try to protect the animals that look nice, when several species of nasty looking fish are nearly extinct too.

Like mistymisty said everything else must come to an end not everything will live at some point something will die,disappear,or extinct

I could understand if nature made a big role for this survival of the fittest but it is us humans that made a big contribution as why other species extincts. Just the other day,I saw a strangled sea turtle in a pile of rubbish couldn't sea it clearly but I think it was a nylon line used for fishing. I guess I just feel so helpless about this creatures.

I agree with fRosty. We change the environment of the animals and because of that reason they are not able to survive. Besides if you always say that it's the survival of the fittest there won't be animals left. Because almost al the big animals are said to be on the brink of extinction.

We have a family of foxes on our street that are an endangered species. They're so cute, I hope they don't get run over or some jerk decides to try and get their fur. But I guess animal species go extinct all the time, it's the life cycle.

as cossette said animals have to be or are naturally becoming extinct you cant prevent it :/ , If its not you or humans nature is going to attack . Its just the Cycle of Life :). Your gonna get used to it believe me

i see that those are impportant but we gotta face facts some animals are gonn abe too far gone

Not all the extinction of animals are naturally occurring that's what I really know and yes we gotta face it that they are disappearing(thanks to us).
