Training Contest
Hey! Welcome to The Guardian's training contest. There will be two winners, for a total of 13 billion training XP. This is my first contest, so if the amounts seem a little low, it's because that much training still takes a short while. More will be done later :)
So, basically my rules are common sense. No begging, respect the winner if you lose, and don't pm me asking for free stuff. If any more people send trades for my Cursed Golett for nothing in return, I will insta-block and report. The first three people to pm me in-game with the correct answers to the following questions will win: 1: 8 billion XP 2: 4 billion XP 3: 1 billion XP Question 1: Who wrote the play Epic Proportions? (Two, give both of them :P) Question 2: If a tree lies 60 feet from a given point, and the hypotenuse is equivalent to four plus two times the height of the tree, how tall is the tree? Training Contest
Ok, so no one got it right yet, haha. The first and third ones are pretty easy, but here's how you read the second question (plus a hint)
Since we aren't working with any angles, we don't have to use any trigonometric functions. The bottom of the triangle is 60, the right side (height of the tree) is x, what we want to figure out, and the hypotenuse is 2x+4. Edit: One more hint, you use the rule, a²+b²=c². 60²+x²=(2x+4)²
