I know this happened a very long time ago,but when gun laws were made,people said they'd be safe from criminals now.Well,no offense,but that isn't such a smart idea since criminals break laws,so it would just leave us even more defenseless.They'd come rushing in with a bazooka and we just have what?A tiny gun?You'd be blasted to smitherines by the time your mind got a grip on what was happening.They are positive to reassure less,'good then they're evil' activity.They'd know they wouldn't have a chance without a better gun,but they could easily find out that they could just steal a better one.What is your opinion on these laws?Good?Or bad?

Bad. As you said, criminals break laws, they're gonna kill...

That's the whole idea of a criminal, someone who breaks the law and disobeys the rules.
The gun laws only prevent the people who are good and who follow laws.
If they follow the laws, killing someone is out of the question.
The gun law doesn't really do anything in my opinion.
It shouldn't be removed but it doesn't have much effective.

I just think, They want the people to be powerless now. Yeah it might down rate the criminal with guns. But they also have another weapons they can use, But it not helping when they are going to take it away. Some people keep it safe so if something happens
Example: If some one break into your house. How are you going to protect your safe? With a Broom? A Knife?
What if they has a gun. That they hide or stole from someone else? Your going to end up dead. There people use need then for good reason. Not to commit a criminal, You know. What if you had a Family. Your going to protect right? So I really see no point on taking away the guns.

I'd have to imagine it's, because threads like this always go off topic. In mostly all the groups I'm apart of they all have many off topic threads.

I say it's helpful in a critical situation such as a hijack, or a random robbery, but obviously it opens risks for those who break the law

The reason the law to have guns was put into place is so people can rebel against the government if they decide to attack the people, the criminals are nothing more than a minor threat compared to the military attacking us without guns

Well,I think that gun laws are good and bad, depending on how you look at it. The good thing is that we could be secure when the government is protecting us with guns, but we would need protection only if some person was using guns for bad.
