Step 3:go the the luminous city tower and stand in the middle if the walkway and put a dime underneath the circle pad so it goes directly to the right or left (watch it do a loop then leave it open and charged for 12 hours also if you have a bike this goes quicker )

I remember people used to do it to hatch eggs faster...
While it may be helpful for you, however when a pokemon is trained by daycare, it loses many fundamental evs and ivs. For comparison, you can try having two same pokemon, one trained to level 10 by daycare and the other one trained by your hard training.
The difference won't matter though, no pokemon can stand against a weak level 100 pokemon ( with exception of metapod )
