You look around and see that friend dead on the floor between a velvet recliner and a fireplace. Blood leaks onto your shoes- Now you're scared. Footsteps and creaks are now heard loudly due to your awareness.
A note falls into your hands:
Remember, don't look into it's eyes.
For your death will lie.
Another chance, an oppurtunity.
For your freedom, you must fight.
It is not easy, I must warn thee.
Forget the light, you're trapped in the darkness of... Night.

(I can't see it, start. I'd like you to begin by walking in the mansion.)

I stood there, watching in horror of my friend. The note was clutched tightly in my hand. I turned toward the door, the world spinning around dizzily.
"They wouldn't make it that easy." I muttered and clasped the knife I had brought.
I pivoted, then trudged forward.

I was in the hallway, staring at the dead people in my living room. "Hmm... People should at least try not to get killed on the carpet." I think.

I looked around for anything that might signal a way out.

I see alive people in the mansion. So I decide to get a bit crafty. I go into the bathroom and start crying.

"OHMAGHERDWHATSTHATSOUND??" I yelled, leaping in terror. My grip on my machete tightened. My walking sped up and I stepped into a room lit by a small candle resting in its center.

I continue to cry, louder, because I try to trick them off.

I remained silent, alert as ever.
