There was a sound outside.
"Shh. Did you hear that?" I asked. The others listened. There it was again.
"It sounds like a 'whooshing' sound." I commented.
"Yeah, but where's it coming from?" Sonic asked.
"You don't think they've found us, do you?" I asked. There was the sound of clanking metal. IT seemed to get closer and closer.
"Uhh, I think that's our cue to leave..." Manic suggested
"I think you're right." I replied, helping direct everyone back towards the van.

"You're welcome." I reply. Lazers were fired at the van.
"Crap, I think they've spotted us." I say.
"We're going to have to make sure they don't follow us." Sonic added.
I nodded. I climbed to the roof of the van. I touched my medallion. IT morphed into a Keyboard-like lazer gun.

I also climbed up onto the roof, and vines shot out of my back.

Eventually, all the ships were stopped.
"That was a close one." I said, morphing the gun back into a medallion.
"It sure was. Good thing we stopped them." Manic replied.
" We should pull the van over in that cave, over there." I instructed.
