I was planning on doing a Heart Gold playthrough using an Emulator of a DS, and I was wondering if you guys wanted me to go by certain rules to go by.

Things I won't do
1. Go through the game using only one Pokemon
2. Beat the E4 only using Magikarp(As a rule, Maybe afterwards I will)
3. Ridiculous things like "Name the trainer GREGORY AND NAME THE RIVAL 81371!!!!" or anything like that.
so, I'll begin the playthrough on Augest 26th, I'll use any rules given to me by then and tell you all my process with Screen shots of my process and keep my team up to date. How long do you think it will take me to beat HG?

and No, I won't name my trainer or Rival anything negative and I will count me as winning by defeating Red, not by defeating the E4 and champion. and yes, I will go by Nuzlock rules as well :P


Oh, just to let ya'll know, I will be doing the play through regardless if I have rules to go by when playing it or not. so yeah, Give me some rules to follow during this playthrough.

No longer asking for rules, will start the Playthrough at maybe 1:PM :P

rules I am going to follow
1. No Legendaries. None.
2. Use only the First 6 Pokemon you catch against the E4.
3: Will use Three Male Pokemon through the entire challenge and have 3 other pokemon with em :P Because if it was 3 during entire playthrough, It would contradict Rule 2

*Stares at and shivers* O-okay...

I actually didn't use any legendary Pokemon in the battle against Red. xD So it's possible. :P

I know, Plus you get allot of EXP for beating them :P

Pick totodile as it learns a lot of good moves and it's Ivs r really good. Use noctowl since it learns a lot of psychic type attacks and Is a fast sweeper

I'm picking Cyndaquil because it's amazing. I'll probably get Noctowl, Just cause I like the owl pokemon, And I'mma use Red Gyarados because it's shiny and it's amazing with Attack, and great for sweeping opponents :p

Reason I refuse to pick Totodile: I hate the water type and no force will make me use it. Ever.

Suggested Rule: Beat the Elite Four with the 1st 6 pokemon you get/capture/etc. :3

Gyarados is amazing, and I meant I hate Totodile in general, and Okay, I'll do that (I'll just not catch any pokemon until I encounter one I want XD)

Well I do agree on Gyarados being amazing with that big open mouth...lol and Totodiles... I think they were made to become HM slaves xD
