I follow her, grasping her hand tightly.

Aero opened the door and helped Ace into the ambulance.

I just sat back.

"May I come with him?" Aero asked the ambulance driver.
"I, uh..." The driver glanced over to the other person who had been in the ambulance. They simply shrugged.
"Sure..." The driver replied.

I was now humming.

Aero joined Ace. "They said I could come," She said, smiling. The engine revved up, and then they were off.

I smiled. "I'm glad."

Aero nodded, smiling in return. The ambulance bumped every now and then, but it was mostly a smooth drive.

I couldn't help but blink a lot. I really wanted to see Aero's face at least once more. I didn't mind being blind otherwise.
"Aero, am I creepy?" I ask.

Aero cocked her head, frowning. "Creepy?" She repeated. "Of course not! I'll always love you," She added, squeezing his hand affectionately.

I blushed a little. I brushed my bony wounded fingers through my almost perfect black hair. My hands were rotting away, and my skin was a dull green in some areas. My neck had stitches, along with my chest, covered by my tattered stitched up shirt. My one feathery wing found its way to hold Aero a little closer to me.

Aero smiled, perfectly content as she sat by Ace. She knew many people thought he was ugly and scary at first, but all Aero saw was the inner beauty of who he truly was.

I tried standing up, but a loud snap stopped me. I looked down at my right leg. The bone pushed its way through.. That was a little too much for my weak, child-like mood.

Aero bit her lip. "Ace, how about we just sit until you get to the hospital?" She suggested, laughing nervously.

(Lol okay,)
"Y-yeah..." I say, there was one distinct feature to bone, it was charred.
"I hope Daniel actually died this time...." I mutter to myself.
