Shulk stood up to face Midnite. "Recovery Gem?" Shulk asked.

"It's what makes him 'immortal'. It's in his neck," Midnite says, holding the golden bone.

"In his neck? Cutting open his neck to get this gem doesn't sound like that good of an idea." Shulk said.

"Well, he's dead, isn't he?" Midnite says.

"But if you do revive him there's gonna be a huge cut in his neck." Shulk countered. "Also why isn't this recovery gem making him immortal right now?" Shulk questioned.

"You're smart. If you get this from me, you can have it." Midnite says.

"I don't want this recovery gem. I'm fine with being mortal. I don't even know you, so how I can I trust you?" Shulk asked.

"Let's just say that Ace and I had some, disagreements." Midnite says, glaring at my dead body.

Jeff bought a ticket for Sydney, Australia, planning to leave the U.S.

"And what is stopping you from getting this recovery gem for yourself?" Shulk asked.

Icarus sighed and warped to Shulk to see if he got any leads.

(Shulk is trying to reach a deal with Midnite to revive Ace, Jeff's planning to flee to Australia, and Rays heading to confront Midnite on the death of his brother.)

Ray grabbed his gun and rode on his dirtbike towards the group.
