Deadeye began breathing heavily. "The Zek will find the host, one man cannot fix 7 Billion problems."

X smiled, "He will, I know it, I have faith in him." he said, injecting more poison. Ikaru was sweating in the sunlight, he was helping out some elders, "I wonder what X is doing." he asked.

I red flash seemingly ran out of Deadeye, Deadeye screamed in pain, then fell to the ground.

X dragged Deadeye's body to the jet, calling Matt as he got in."Matt, everyone's dead, city's destroyed, I need you to take care of someone I care deeply about." he said, the aura diminishing.

"Alright, who is it?" Matt said calmly.

X nodded, "His name is Ikaru, and he means the world to me." he said, "I've got Deadeye, I think he's dead, he was the Zek..." he said, "Ikaru is the equivalent of all the good in the world, I'll bring him to you." he said, descending in Japan.

"Okay," Matt said, "Where are you going that you need me to watch him."

X sighed, picking up Ikaru and headed for Matt, "I just can't have him next to me, I'm a bad influence, I don't want to taint him." he said, arriving back in America with a confused Ikaru,

Matt stayed silent for a little, then said. "I don't think I understand where you think you're going to have a negative impact on him, or where I would be any better."

X shook his head, pushing Ikaru towards Matt, "You know what I am." he said, taking the mask off. He moved Deadeye's body with the chains also in front of Matt. He pointed towards a news report on the fight and the city's destruction.

"Is he allowed by himself?" Matt asked, "Cause I'm going to be spending the next week in court, and, if I win the case, hopefully the next 20 years in the FBI."

Ikaru nodded, "I can spend the next two weeks helping out at the senor centers, other communities, the soup kitchen, etc." he said, a bit gloomily.

"Okay," Matt said, "By the way, not to go off-topic, do you know a good attorney?"

Ikaru raised his hand, "I've got some training and a few cases, my mentor might take up the job." he said. X nodded, "I've got the funds to pay for it,"

"I can pay for it." matt said, "I just never found a good one. Thank you."
