She gave him a look, but then returned her attention to the rest of the group.

"So, Lets look for the source." I said

"But where? There's nothing but grassland for miles!" Amy exclaimed.

"I meant actual miles..." -Amy

"If we split up we'll cover more ground." Nate said

"Wait!" Tails interrupted. He pulled a couple walkie talkies from Hammerspace.
"Take these. We can keep in touch if something should happen." he added, holding them out.

"Okay." I said sprinting off to the NNW

"Too bad we don't have any of our old inventions to help us out. We'll have to build some new ones." Tails muttered.
"It's okay buddy. Once we figure out what exactly we're doing, we'll go see if we can find some parts for you to work on building something." Sonic told him.

Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles formed another group. The four went Southeast.

I was still sprinting before tripping on something and tumbling for an extra 7 feet

So far, we hadn't found anything.

Nate and Sully went east

"I just wonder what might have caused this to happen again. We still don't even know exactly how it happened the first time! What if it's something deep within space or time? Something that can't be fixed?" Tails wondered.
"Well hopefully we'll be able to fix it. Otherwise, WE'RE STRANDED!" Amy announced.
"Thanks for that Captain Obvious." Knuckles remarked.

"What do you thinks wrong this time?" Nate asked

"Don't know, but it ain't good." Sully said
